Tom graduated with a Computer Science degree from Southampton University, and entered the Fuel Cell sector in 2005, initially to develop control software for Fuel Cell Systems. From there he gained knowledge in the whole system and has since been responsible for the design and implementation of numerous fuel cell projects ranging from small DMFCs to large MW systems. Tom was an early leader in the hydrogen sector, designing and developing the UK’s first mobile hydrogen refuelling system, HyTruck, in 2016. He has continued to lead the development of FCSL’s range of hydrogen refuellers, including the HyQube and HyFlow. Following a significant investment by Hydrasun in 2022, Tom has taken on the role of CTO for FCSL and is heading up a very exciting stage of rapid growth for the company.
